National Garden Railway Show at Peterborough

Bob Brook, David Dawson and Tim Elsworth took the Nursery's model railway to the National Garden Railway Show at Peterborough Arena on 8 April. Over the winter the team has been overhauling and improving the layout for the event.

The show was an outstanding success and the model was popular with public. The live plants on the layout, the general idea of modelling a nursery and the quality of the dressing of the layout were amongst the comments mentioned by the public. The locomotives ran successfully and many of the Nursery's leaflets were taken, hopefully this will result in future visits to Nursery.
